Project Brief

Located on 600 acres in the Texas Hill Country just outside of Austin, sits Canyon Ranch Austin Resort. The 141 Guestroom Resort includes 13 Buildings in a campus setting made of a main arrival Ranch House, social Living Room, 3 Lodging Buildings, state-of-the-art Fitness and covered Lap Pool Buildings, Casual Dining, analytical Health + Performance Building, functional Administrative and Maintenance Buildings, and a luxurious 40,000 SF Spa. The architecture is surrounded by a host of site amenities including pools, hot tubs, cold plunges, water features, tennis and pickle ball courts, walking trails and beautiful hill country landscaping irrigated from rainwater collection tanks. The greenfield site required the installation of a raw water intake system from the adjacent Lake Travis, a water treatment plant, elevated water storage tank, wastewater treatment plant, and associated effluent drip fields that were designed for the capacity of the Resort and 300 Residential single-family home sites.
