Project Brief

The existing Skin Care Retail and Treatment Rooms were buried in the back of the Spa making it difficult for guests to locate and lowering their product sales performance. The renovation brought these elements forward so the Retail was connected to the Lobby, and this also provided for the opportunity to update the guest check-in experience with a new desk and the beginning of a larger planned transition from the harsh red tones of the desert Saltillo tile to a more modern color palette that will eventually carry throughout the Spa Building. The Treatment Rooms were refreshed in a construction sequence that allowed for the Resort to continue operating in 2/3^rds of the area at a given time while the other was under renovation.
