Project Brief

As a premier Dallas private school, Episcopal School of Dallas had long envisioned uniting their two campuses in one location to create a cohesive community of students. Echelon joined the project team early to assist the Owner in their selection of a General Contractor and helped navigate a complete redesign of the building prior to construction. The final product is a three-story building that provides neighborhood spaces and outdoor learning environments for each grade level. The learning environment was paramount in informing design decisions, but a clean and lively aesthetic was also maintained. Outdoor amenities include a butterfly garden, a climbing structure integrated into the building structure, landscape tunnels, and new green space for child play.
