Project Brief

Situated on prime oceanfront real estate along Grand Cayman’s world-famous Seven Mile Beach, the Westin continually is a top performer and has been recognized for its excellence by travelers abroad. To make way for a major expansion of a new sister hotel next door, the Westin had to undergo several renovations to increase restaurant production and options, conversions of guestrooms to meeting rooms and retail, and an expansion to the existing ballroom creating a 900 person Conference Center. This multi-phase process required close coordination with the operations team in order to minimize disruption to guests and reduce financial loss for ownership. Echelon Leadership performed the role of Owner’s Representative assisting the Asset and Project Management Teams throughout this endeavor.
